Coming Performances

Great N'Awlins cuisine and a fine place to enjoy another evening with Mississippi Crossing. We're going to be doing a nice mix of songs for a Spring evening, with our usual acoustic mix of standards, blues,folk, alt-county, rock, etc.

Two hours of John's songs--the ones you know, some you might not. The band will follow with another set of acoustic covers from a variety of artists and genres, from Fats Waller and to Tyler Childers and Guns and Roses. Doors open at 7:30. So much locally produced produce, meats from nearby ranches, and tasty bake goods. It really is worth coming out for this one.

It's Independence Day Weekend. We will feature what we regard as "patriotic" music associated with peace and justice struggles in U.S. history. No Lee Greenwood tunes allowed.

Those on the IL side already know, and all of you on the MO side of the river ought to know that this place has great breakfasts and a nice group of people enjoying their lunch on the patio.

Bakeries, butchers, local farmers, and a raft of fresh vittles are all up and down three full blocks, downtown. I highly recommend coming hungry and stopping in Katie's cafe and bakery on Main.
